Exeter has indoor courts, and there are a few new facilities popping up outdoor, but we’re genuinely one of the only indoor padel venues in the county, and definitely the only one serving Shepton Mallet, Evercreech and the surrounding areas.

The Community Has Been Incredible
We opened the doors last weekend for a soft launch, and this Saturday (18th October) is our official grand opening. The turnout has been brilliant, but what’s really made it special is the people.
So many locals have come down to try padel for the first time. We’re talking people who’ve never played a racket sport before, complete beginners who just fancied giving it a go. And you know what, they’ve absolutely loved it.
We’ve been on court coaching, teaching the rules, helping people with their technique, and watching them get hooked on the sport in real time. That’s what it’s all about for us.

What’s really struck us this week is the sense of community.
People have been so welcoming. Experienced players are helping beginners. Complete strangers are partnering up for doubles. Everyone’s chatting over coffee after their games. It’s exactly the vibe we wanted to create.

Indoor Padel in Somerset: The Future Looks Bright
This is just the beginning for us. Shepton Mallet proves that there’s a real appetite for quality indoor padel facilities in areas that haven’t had access before. We have a new site in Corsham (not Somerset we know!) which will be opening before Christmas which will boast 6 courts with 3 outdoor courts to come later in the summer of 2026.
