How it started

Padel People was founded in 2022 by James Rock and George Sandbach with a simple belief:

Great padel clubs shouldn't only exist in wealthy city centres.

While much of the industry chased premium venues, we took a different path, bringing affordable, welcoming clubs to the towns and communities that had been overlooked. Today that vision is a network of clubs across the UK, built from warehouses, leisure units, old tennis courts and golf clubs, with more in development.

As we grow, our aim stays the same: make great padel more accessible, strengthen local communities and create clubs people genuinely want to be part of.

We build clubs, not facilities

  • 01Beginners feel genuinely welcome
  • 02Regular players know each other's names
  • 03Coaches come from the local community
  • 04Juniors are welcome to learn and improve
  • 05Social matters as much as competition
Anyone can build courts. What matters is what happens after the booking, that's the difference between a facility and a club.
